Gregory has a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Philosophy (B.A.) from Memorial University of Newfoundland and law degrees in both Civil and Common Law (B.C.L/LL.B.) from McGill University. He has worked at large national law firms in both Montreal and Toronto.

Gregory joined the Centre of Genomics and Policy in January 2010 and has since been working on legal, ethical and social issues relating to genetic research.
